The Association is involved in the changes being introduced across Europe by the REACH Regulations by co-operating with the International Bitumen Emulsion Federation (IBEF).

Industry Standard Procedures for the safe transfer of products from a delivery tanker to a Mobile Storage Tank (MST)

From the 1st April 2025 the REA members are introducing the following standard procedures for the safe transfer of bitumen emulsion products from a delivery tanker to a mobile storage tank (MST). This follows collaboration across all the REA member companies to achieve an agreed standard approach to the safe transfer of products in these circumstances
